Ed Waddingham is a research fellow and senior statistician at Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU). His current and recent research portfolio covers a range of disease areas including sepsis, mental health, multiple sclerosis and acute coronary syndrome.
In additional to clinical trial design and analysis, his research interests include statistical methodology, pharmacoepidemiology and benefit-risk. Ed has been based at Imperial College London since 2011, and holds a MSc in epidemiology and a PhD concerned with the application of Bayesian multi-criteria decision analysis to the benefit-risk assessment of medicines. He is a committee member for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Statistics Working Group on benefit-risk.
